I went to uni with Leyla and wanted to feature her as Wildflower's first interview blog post. Leyla Acarolglu is a designer and sociologist and, as you'll hear in her interview, she's a progressive, enlightened thinker who presents the concepts of design and sustainability in a way we can easily grasp - and in a way that's positive, empowering and encourages us to use our own power and act. In class, she was always pushing the boundaries, arguing with the lecturers and generally being 'out there' and defiant - but always with a smile and it was always coming from a place of wanting to move forward and solve problems.
